About Our Reclaimed Timber Furniture

Reclaimed Timber furniture is made from genuine reclaimed wood, sourced and recycled from sustainable sources.

It is a minimum of 10 years old and has been reclaimed from various buildings and factories, typically prior to re-development or demolition.

The wood itself is unique with no two pieces ever being the same.

Typical characteristics that can be expected are a planked appeareance, nail holes, splits, an aged patina and uneven surfaces.

With 20mm thick, 40mm and 70mm tops available on any piece of Reclaimed Timber furniture, the  plank widths create a structural as well as visual solidness that oozes charm and character.

Reclaimed Timber has the same heritage as our Driftwood Timber Furniture but with a more refined appearance, having been lightly sanded. This means a lighter colour finish can be achieved when waxing our hand made furniture.

Beeswax is simply applied to the surfaces to seal and protect the wood and brings out the deep tones and colour variations in the wood itself to beautiful effect.

ALL furniture can be made in Reclaimed Timber from Beds to Larder Units, Sideboards to Chests of Drawers, Lamp Tables to Dining Tables, Blanket Boxes to TV Units, Dressers to Dressing Tables, Bookcases to Desks…the choice is endless
